Hello Readers! This Tuesday Tune-In is all about the book Fearless Enough by Kelly Elliott. Fearless Enough is a spin-off novel from the Meet Me in Montana series. Readers will head back to Hamilton, Montana, for a family reunion like no other! Let’s jump off this review of Fearless Enough with the synopsis!
Blayze Shaw’s life is all that he’s dreamed of. Being a rancher on the Shaw family farm is more than fulfilling, it’s a dream come true.
When a woman from his past resurfaces and is given the task of diving deep into his world for the answers he isn’t willing to share, Blayze’s perfect world is thrown for a loop. He wants to dislike her, but the more time they spend together bickering back and forth, the harder it is to fight his feelings.
Georgiana Crenshaw is chasing a career as a sports reporter and has something to prove to the top dogs at the network where she works. Told it will be the interview of a lifetime, Georgiana shows up at the airport with a go-get-’em attitude. Only when her father tells her who she’ll be interviewing does she have a moment of doubt?
But honestly, how hard could it be to interview an arrogant, self-centered, obnoxious, too handsome for his own good flirt, who gave Georgiana her first kiss behind the barn on his father’s ranch?
My Thoughts on Fearless Enough
Fearless Enough is the first book in the Love in Montana series. This is a spin-off to the Meet Me in Montana series, following the story of Georgiana and Blayze. Blayze’s life is idyllic. That is until Georgiana Crenshaw waltzes back on the scene. Thanks to an article she’s writing, on the Shaw family, Georgiana, and Blayze are forced to cohabitate. And as sparks once again begin to fly they have no choice but to finally lay their past to rest….
Fearless Enough is my first small-town romance novel and I have to say that I am so glad that this was my introduction. I will try my best to keep this spoiler free so that you have no choice but to experience the world of Fearless Enough and Kelly Elliott’s writing for yourself.
Blayze Shaw quickly became one of my favorite men. Taking the spot of book boyfriend for the first half of 2023. Blayze is a charmer, a true Midwest gentleman, and a heart-breaker–both to the ladies within the pages of the book and the women in real life that get to experience the pure sex appeal that he exudes. His character is written so well. The incident that happened between him and Georgiana was they were teens, ultimately created a wall within Blayze. And since that moment he hasn’t really let anyone into his heart. To see his character develop and grow had me swooning throughout the entirety of the book!
“I can be fearless enough for the both of us.”
This is also ( I think) my first go at the second-chance romance trope. And, if this is what they all are like all I have to say is YES! YES, a thousand times YES! Kelly writes this trope beautifully. As Fearless Enough is a story that easily sparks your attention, holding on and never letting go, I just knew I was going to love this story. Again to see how stubborn and bullheaded Blayze (and Georgiana) are failing to fight (both for and against their feelings), as it’s only a matter of time and the fall is always SO sweet & satisfying!
I must admit Fearless Enough is everything readers could want in a second-chance romance plot. This basis of the story is filled with warmth, longing, and an unforgettable true connection. Georgiana and Blayze have the kind of chemistry that just pours from the pages and makes you just want to devour their story in a single sitting. The romance between the two will frustrate you on one page and the minute you turn it you will be swooning.
“You fell in love with her. Hell you may have always been in love with her”
And then we have the leading lady, Georgiana Crenshaw. When I first read the blurb and noted her job, I knew that it would be about Blayze and them reconnecting. With this, I had to see how the plot unfolded. Georgiana is the perfect combination of a fictional character and a real woman. Having flaws that anyone can relate to and resonate with.
You’ll find out exactly what I mean for yourself when she is introduced and as the story unfurls. Georgiana and Blayze are true equals. Making her the perfect soulmate for him as she is his other half. And you can’t help but love this about her and their relationship. Even in the most unexpected instances (plus the addition of the forced proximity trope), there’s a reason and silver lining in each moment. And she can’t help but take the reins and steer them right where they need to go.
“I Love YoU”
Overall, I gave it 4.5 stars and definitely would say that Fearless Enough is a story that you have to read for yourself. Fearless Enough left me with a huge smile and a desire to read more from this series. If you’re a fan of second-chance romances and cowboys (even if you aren’t) you won’t want to miss Fearless Enough by Kelly Elliott!
