Hi! I’m Dominique—reader, reviewer, and your friendly neighborhood book influencer. Books have always been a way of life for me. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering if I’m open to reviewing your book or collaborating through a book influencer program. The short answer? Yes—but let’s talk details first.

*PLEASE NOTE* My schedule is very tight, and I can only read so many books in a month. I will do my best to complete the task within the requested time frame, but I make no promises (just to be clear).

Reading Preferences

I’m currently open to book influencer programs, ARCs, and review requests—but please know that I reserve the right to decline books that don’t resonate or that I simply don’t have time for.

I’m most drawn to:

  • YA/NA/Adult Fantasy
  • YA/NA/Adult Sci-Fi
  • YA/NA/Adult Romance
  • Thrillers / Psychological Thrillers
  • Mystery, Horror
  • Selective Historical Fiction

Books written by POC, LGBTQIA+, and marginalized voices are prioritized—this community thrives when it reflects all stories.

Rating Books

Every book review I post is completely honest. A review is for the potential reader, not the author or publisher. While I always seek something to love in a book, I won’t guarantee positive feedback.

Reviews are rated on a 5-star scale:

  • 2.5 stars = an average read
  • 4 stars and up = something I’ll recommend often

If a book didn’t move me positively or negatively, I may not post about it. When I do post a negative or mixed review, I won’t tag the author or publisher.

*Please note* that the criticism, if any, is directed at the book and not at the author or publisher. Also, if I do not enjoy the book but feel some readers might like it, I would mention so in the reviews.

To streamline communication, please include:

  • Page count
  • Publisher name
  • Any relevant deadlines or campaign details
  • Format availability (physical or digital)

A Note to the Authors

While I typically work with publicists, authors are welcome to reach out directly. If your book is accepted for review, you agree to an unbiased, authentic take.

Please don’t follow up for a better review—every post is crafted for readers, not for validation. A book that didn’t resonate with me may still find its person. Focus on those readers.

I prefer physical copies for review, but I’ll consider e-copies—especially from indie publishers or small presses—if the blurb captures my attention.
