Vera’s grief is raw, messy, and coded in a way that made my autistic heart clench. Her house is falling apart, her routines are survival, and every win comes at a soul-splitting cost. This book had me laughing one page, spiraling the next. It’s fast-paced and horrifying, but underneath the chaos is something deeply human.
