Synopsis
I’m a scoundrel
Playboy. Man whore.
Basically, I get around, and I’m not afraid to admit it.
So when my best friend opens up Salacious Players’ Club and asks me to head the construction, how could I say no?
Now we’re on a cross-country road trip touring other kink clubs, and I couldn’t be happier.
Life is good.
Then Hunter suddenly asks me to sleep with his wife…while he watches.
I’ll do anything for my best friend, but this is the one request I should say no to.
Isabel is the woman of my dreams, but she’s his.
And the exact reason I should say no is the one reason I say yes.
Because it’s not only Isabel I want.
These are the two most important people in my life, and if we go down this path, how will I ever be able to walk away?
I’m not sure my best friend understands just how much I’m willing to do for him—and why.
Journey into Passion and Give Me More
Give Me More by Sara Cate is the third installment in the Salacious Payers’ Club series. Each book in the series starts about the same with the focus being on the perspective of the main character in that scene.
Sara Cate’s “Give Me More” is an electrifying rollercoaster ride through the labyrinth of desire, passion, and self-discovery. From the very first page, Cate’s mastery of prose ensnares the reader. This go-’round is owner Hunter, his wife Isabel, and their best friend Drake. This story is deep with not only desire but the internal struggle that Hunter goes through throughout the story.
These three have always had a connection being inseparable for 10-plus years. It is Hunter and Isabel’s marriage but with the constant addition of Drake. He tags along on vacations, everyday life, and even on their honeymoon. Feelings eventually start to awaken between not only Isabel and Drake but Hunter and Drake as well.
Give Me More is intricately layered. Having great moments of tension, desire, and downright spice. It is just beautiful in every way. I absolutely loved this and while it is not better than Praise or Eyes on Me. Give Me More does come SUPER CLOSE to being top in the series. These three are just perfect for each other.
“We’ve always been best friends, but maybe that’s what best friends are—soul mates in disguise.”
I don’t often get a chance to read MMF stories very often. This one only is the second one that I have read this year. But, I have to say that I was blown away by this story. It was perfectly crafted. Menage sometimes can be an overpowering story, because with the addition of another person ups the ante on the heat factor. With that being said Cate’s vivid descriptions and internal monologues provide a rare glimpse into each person’s psyche, allowing readers to connect with her on an intimate level.
One of the book’s standout features is its cast of multifaceted characters, each contributing a unique layer to the narrative. While each of the stories in The Salacious Players’ Club is standalone, they all are somewhat interconnected. Building upon each story with each new installment. The chemistry with each of the owners is perfect. The supporting characters are equally well-developed. Adding depth and authenticity to the story’s backdrop leaving readers eagerly turning pages to uncover the secrets that bind them.
Cate’s exploration of desire and intimacy is both raw and unapologetic. The intimate scenes are tastefully written. Capturing not only the physical aspects but also the emotional nuances that heighten the experience. The author’s ability to navigate these delicate moments with sensitivity showcases her skill in crafting well-rounded characters who feel real and relatable.
“If soul mate means a person whose heart mirrors mine, a twin flame, so compatible that one cannot fully exist without the other, then without a doubt, he is mine.”
While “Give Me More” is undoubtedly a romance novel, it transcends the boundaries of the genre. It delves into themes of self-discovery, independence, and the complexity of human connections. Hunter’s personal growth throughout the story is a testament to Cate’s prowess in weaving emotional arcs that resonate with readers on a personal level.
The pacing of the narrative is well-balanced, with moments of heart-pounding intensity intermingled with introspective pauses. The plot twists and turns, keeping readers on the edge of their seats, invested in Hunter’s journey of self-acceptance and love. And Drake’s realization that he wants more than he says he does.
“You can be rough with her,” Hunter says from his place across the room. “She likes it.”
Moreover, Sara Cate’s prose is nothing short of mesmerizing. Her evocative descriptions paint a vivid picture of the characters’ surroundings, immersing readers in the sights, sounds, and sensations of the world she has created. Her words have an almost lyrical quality that adds an extra layer of allure to the story.
Overall “Give Me More” by Sara Cate is a magnetic and sensuous novel that explores the depths of desire and the intricacies of human connection. And it definitely gets 5 stars. With its compelling characters, skillful storytelling, and exploration of the complexities of love, this book is an invitation to indulge in a world of passion and self-discovery. I never feel like there is enough of these stories, it is that GOOD. Prepare to be captivated, enthralled, and ultimately moved by this remarkable tale.
Happy Reading Readers
