I love how this list captures the reason murder mysteries are so addictive—the little clues, the suspicious characters, and that feeling of thinking you’ve solved everything right before the author proves you completely wrong. My favorite part of mystery books is when the ending makes me go back and question every tiny detail I ignored. My “detective skills” usually last about three chapters before I accuse the wrong person. Which mystery book gave you the biggest jaw-dropping twist?

    1. I have two books: The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides and A Flicker in the Dark by Stacey Willingham. Even after it has been so long since I read them, those are still at the top of my mind. Have you read them?
